Learn to weave with Loretta of Blackberry Hills Farm. (Rescheduled from April 1st and the blizzard.)

  • Learn to weave by creating your own beautiful table runner. We will be using rigid heddle looms, they will be pre-warped so you can focus on picking colors and designs for your runner. All the materials are provided, but if you have some yarn or something else you want to weave into your runner feel free to bring it. 

  • All day class from 10:30-4:30ish.

  • Cost $60.

  • Bring your own lunch.

  • Limited to 8 participants.

Wooly Workshop

Come to the Wooly Workshop to explore creating with natural wool fibers. Local shepherd, Karen Schnell will be available for individualized instruction and support for working with wool. Each month will have a focus, but come with curiosity and questions about any wool craft, and Karen will do her best to help you discover and explore. All supplies and wool will be available for purchase from Karen’s DIANA’S DREAM FIBER FARM.

  • For March, we will do a ‘simple project’ variety day - options for felting, darning, drop spindles, weaving, knit or crochet. A chance to explore with wool fibers. 

  • ** Donations are accepted for cost of instruction/advice.

  • When registering, please indicate what activity you are most interested in, so Karen can be prepared.

  • Wooly Workshop has a new day!  Join in the Workshop for some ‘Wooly Fun’ on Sunday, February 12 from 1-2:30. Felting, weaving, and drop spindle activities will be available, with all the wool and supplies needed for each. In addition, Karen will be available to demonstrate darning for mending woolen items that need repair. Bring in that ‘hole-y’ sock or mitten and see how to restore it to use.
